Sourcing at Lake Champlain Chocolates

What's our secret to making great tasting chocolate? It all comes down to one thing - using only the best ingredients.

From the Beginning

Since 1983, Lake Champlain Chocolates has always been dedicated to sourcing the freshest local ingredients. Long before eating local became a trend, it just made sense to us to use the highest quality ingredients from local farmers and producers to craft our irresistibly delicious chocolates. When you are as passionate about crafting great tasting chocolate as we are, you only put best ingredients into your product - that why we've never added preservatives, extenders, or additives, and it is why we've worked diligently to remove GMOs from all of our chocolates and use organic ingredients whenever possible.
